Today I heard the news story of a sick, crazy pastor who was caught chasing after what he thought was a 13 year old girl. I thought to myself...do we ever really know the people make up our everyday lives? How many men have I met that have been or could be involved in a secret so deep and horrible like this one? Unfortunately it leaves me to question people just a little bit more.You should never overlook a person's slight laps in character. Especially when dating...Yes, people make mistakes but they may also be hinting who they really are. I believe that the characteristics of a man which cannot be measured in wealth nor stature are those that truly measure a man...things such as love, kindness, self-control, respect for others, unselfishness are qualities of true value. I hope for and seek those qualities in people. They do exist...if you are looking closely enough you will find them all...and even in the most unlikely person...and the one you thought could never do harm...may also decieve you. If you listen closely enough....people are usually screaming who they are...just pay attention.
